   Wash day this week was very SUCCESSFUL! I used many products (this was a first for me) but the Star of this week was Mielle Organics Babassu Oil & Mint Deep Conditioner . This product was designed to restore your [heat] damaged or dry ends by bringing protein and moisture to each strand. I began wash-day by washing and conditioning my hair with Aussie Mega Moist Shampoo & Conditioner . I normally section my hair in six to eight sections so that the products can really penetrate my scalp. While washing/conditioning, I primarily focus on just cleansing my scalp as I allow the shampoo and conditioner to flow freely into the body of my hair. I have low-porosity hair, so I have to take extra time to make sure the water and product really saturates my hair. Knowing your hair's porosity can eliminate a lot of time and save a shit ton of money when using/buying the right hair products. Going out on a limb, but I really I enjoy the thrill. I hid in the shadows of comfort too long and its been time to come out. Today was my first real photo shoot with my girlfriend. It was SO official because her Stylist/Creative Director tied everything together. My girlfriend and him are unstoppable together; what they did for me was nothing short of amazing.On another note, I am learning so much about the importance of branding myself. Today I realized that I am a confident person, but I still  need to work on embracing the flaws that I am self conscious about. I can only get better at this and for some reason, I feel like I can take this thing pretty far. I love how proud I made my girlfriend. I feel like I proved to her how bad I want this. Not that I have anything to prove to anyone; it's just rare that I am this open. I spent so long being private so sharing a glimpse into my life is pretty trippy. I still need to figure out the person I want to showcase to the world. In
